Malls of Mauritius

Mauritius is well known for its white sandy beaches and blue turquoise lagoon by most visitors but it should be noted that beside all these natural features, there are more to see now. In fact, with a lot of developments, new infrastructures such as adventure parks, spas and restaurants especially malls have been build up for visitors as well as locals to enjoy shopping on weekends whether alone or with the family.


One among the biggest mall is Bagatelle which is ideally situated in Moka between Reduit and Montagne Ory. It provides a large variety of services from gifts to entertainment. One thing sure is that you will return home something in your bag as you will be spoilt for choice. From children to elderly passing through adults, you will all pass through the compelling shopping experience. Grand Baie La Croisette

It is by far the most stunning mall of Mauritius, indeed a place like no other. Situated at Chemin Vingt Pieds Grand Baie. This mall is dedicated to world class fashion as well as leisure attractions. You will be delighted by an amalgam of flavors and attractions with   a different retail mix. It gives access to a multiplex cinema for movie lovers but is also composed of 110 retail shopping and restaurants for all visitors as well as locals.

Caudan Waterfront

Since it has been inaugurated in 1966, the Caudan Waterfront has been the very first mall constructed in Mauritius. It is among the most visited as it is found Port Louis which is the capital of the island. Cascavelle Mall is considered to be one of the most splendid malls of the West of the island. The mall has a vibrant and lively atmosphere and that’s why it has become for many families and tourists a meeting place. Grand Baie Coeur De Ville

Flacq Shopping Mall

It is the main shopping village of Flacq with many shopping stalls. It now hosts two malls namely Flacq Shopping Mall and Flacq Coeur De Ville. Flacq Shopping Mall situated at Boulet Rouge spreading over an area of 10,000m2 and consists of three acres. Being a South African/European concept, Flacq Shopping Mall consists of approximately 70 shops splitted into various zones. It includes duty-free facilities as many tourists visit the region and has over 165 parking lots are available. It has parking facilities with a children area but also a gym.

Bo’Valon Mall

This newly inaugurated mall is located in the south east of Mauritius more precisely in Grand Port, a stone’s throw away from the international airport. It hosts all amenities for the inhabitants of the south to be delighted by what they are being offered. There is a King Savers supermarket of 4000m2 with a spacious food court. Among the 46 other shops there is Espace Maison alongside fashion outlets such as Island Haze without forgetting health and beauty stores with sports outlets. Being deprived from such infrastructure in the past, now people of Grand Port can enjoy this mall to the fullest on weekdays as well as on weekends.

Valentina Mall

The Valentina Mall has opened officially on the 13 December 2019. This complex has attractive shops such as the hypermarket Lolo, restaurants along with the food court, fashion outlets and a drive thru for all Mc Donald lovers. There is a pharmacy, a dozen famous restaurants have taken up residence among them are Panarottis, Eighty Eight Xpress, Doremi, Gloria, Bol 5, Sultan Sorbet, Zaiqa Food. In addition, the complex includes three ‘Dining in’ restaurants, including Fisherman Lounge, Urban Food and Sitar. The Valentina Mall has among its tenants a good mixture of renowned Mauritian and foreign stores. Overall there are some 15 stores including Dragon Electronics, Ipanema, Orchid Shoes, Mecca, Eshan Chaussures, Bijouterie Maya, Stylish Wear, Zariya Design Wear, Aisha, Your-Optic, Glam Coiffure and Fashion Bazaar.
