L’Aventure du Sucre
L’Aventure du Sucre is one of the most impressive attractions of the island; it helps one to discover the whole history of Mauritius and to understand its different periods. Situated in an old sugar cane factory which was founded in 1797 and ceased working in 1999, the informative and interactive musuem does not only demonstrate the sugar production stages of that time but will also lead you through the Mauritian culture.

Situated just a few minutes from the Pescatore restaurant, Mauritius Aquarium is home to large number of species. The Aquarium features over 200 species of fish, invertebrates, live coral sponges, all of which originates from the rich waters around the island.
